Staff Reporter: Advocate Md. Ruhul Amin Dulal is a bright burning lamp in the politics of Kurigram District Awami Jubo League. Due to his outstanding contribution Kurigram Jubo League is well organized and much stronger today. He was born in a noble family of Kurigram district. Loved Bangabandhu from childhood and followed Bangabandhu’s politics. BA from Rajshahi University, MA and LLB from National University.

During his political career, Haji Dulal was an active activist of the Chhatra League of Kurigram Government College Branch and Jagannath University College Branch from 1984 to 1993.

He was an active member of Kurigram District Jubo League from 1993 to 1997, co-secretary from 1997 to 2005 and from 2005 to 2014 he performed the duties of General Secretary of Kurigram District Jubo League very efficiently.

Then he served as a member of Kurigram Awami League Municipal Branch from 2013 to 2019 and Acting General Secretary from 2003 to 2012.

He was then an active member of Kurigram District Awami League from 2003 to 2019. He is currently one of the members of the Bangabandhu Awami Lawyers Council.

Alhaj Advocate Md. Ruhul Amin Dulal has been serving as convener of Greater Kurigram District Jubo League since 2015. Being a transparent politician and very worker friendly, he has become very popular with every worker of Kurigram District Jubo League. He is now a candidate for the post of President of Kurigram District Jubo League.

Along with politics, he has been conducting many social activities. Advocate Haji Dulal stood by the side of the people with the help of leaders and activists when the people were trapped in their houses and crying for food in the recent flood water in Kurigram district. Also he has been providing legal services to poor and distressed common people and family members of Bangladesh Awami League at nominal cost day after day.

He said, I was subjected to many false cases and harassment by the then BNP-Jamaat coalition government due to active politics of Awami League. Which got rid of the false cases due to the intervention of the current Honorable Prime Minister Jannetri Sheikh Hasina. I have always believed that without transparent politics, patriotism and social service, no country can develop strongly. And I want to spend the rest of my life with Bangabandhu’s ideals.
